➥1842: ఈథర్ను మత్తుమందుగా అమెరికన్ వైద్యుడు మొదటిసారిగా ఉపయోగించాడు.
➥1867: అలాస్కాను రష్యా నుండి అమెరికా కొనుగోలు చేసింది.
➥సుప్రసిద్ధ భారతీయ నటి మరియు దాదాసాహెబ్ ఫాల్కే అవార్డు గ్రహీత దేవికారాణి 1908 వ సం.లో జన్మించారు.
➥తెలుగు భాషోద్యమ నాయకుడు మరియు గాంధేయవాది సి.ధర్మారావు 1934 వ సం.లో జన్మించారు.
➥తెలుగు రచయిత : తంగిరాల వెంకట సుబ్బారావు 1935 వ సం.లో జన్మించారు.
➥తొలి తెలుగు సినిమా నటీమణి : సురభి కమలాబాయి 1971 వ సం.లో మరణించారు.
➥భారత దేశ రచయిత, కార్టూనిస్ట్  : ఒ.వి.విజయన్ 2005 వ సం.లో మరణించారు.

నిద్ర - ఆహారపు alavaa
ఆహారం తినేటప్పుడు నెమ్మదిగా నమిలి తినాలి. దానివల్ల పొట్ట నిండినట్టుగా కాకుండా కొంత ఖాళీ ఉంటుంది.  కార్బోహైడ్రేట్స్ ఉండే పదార్థాలు ఎక్కువ తింటే మంచిది.  బ్రెడ్ కంటే కూడా తృణధాన్యాలతో చేసిన పదార్దాలు తింటే మంచిది. అన్నిటికంటే ముఖ్యం నిద్ర. సరిగా నిద్ర లేకపోతే శక్తి సన్నగిల్లుతుంది. ఫలితంగా ఆకలి పెరుగుతుంది. నిద్ర లేకపోవడం వల్ల జీర్ణక్రియలో కూడా మార్పులొస్తాయి. కాబట్టి రోజుకు ఆరుగంటలు తప్పకుండా నిద్ర పోవాలి. అలాగే ఎనిమిది గంటలకు మించిన నిద్ర కూడా మంచిది కాదు.

భావం : సాగు చేయగా చేయగా భూసారంలోంచి పంటలు పండుతాయి.సంఘర్షణలోంచి సత్యం పుడుతుంది. అలాగే శ్రమలోంచి అన్నీ పుడతాయి.
