Titli Cyclone Proposed Relief by The Employees and Pensioners Contribution
Sub: Cyclone Relief - 'TRH' cyclone - Srikakulam district - severe damage due to the cyclone -proposed relief by the employees, teachers, workers and pensioners -contribution - request for recovery - reg. Ref: Resolution of the State JAC secretariat meeting held on 16.10.2018.
We are very much shocked and pained over the damaged caused by the cyclone 'TRW in Srikakulam District. We are also appreciating the hard work of the llontble Chief Minister and other Cabinet ministers in the relief and rehabilitation work. It is needless to compliment our all cadre employees working around the clock to restore the normalcy in the damaged areas of Srikakulam District. As part of social responsibility, we have discussed the issue in our State Secretariat meeting of the JAC and resolved to contribute the following amounts towards cyclone relief.
1. All Last grade employees Rs.200/-each
2. All other employees and teachers Rs.S00/- each
3. All pensioners Rs.200/- each
There are nearly 4.20 lakh serving employees and 4.00 lakh plus pensioners. The working employees include aided institutions and public sector (excluding RTC and Electricity) organizations. The approx amount will be Rs.30.00 crores plus. We request the Honible Chief Minister to issue necessary instructions for recovery of the above contributions from the employees, teachers and pensioners from the Immediate next pay bill. The pensioners Associations will give separate consent letter to the Govt., in view of certain guidelines.
