AP DEECET – 2019 Notification
1.Online application
for DEECET – 2019 are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into
two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in Government District
institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) and other Private Elementary Teacher
Training Institutions in the state to be conducted by Dept. of School
Education, Govt of A.P on 15.05.2019 and 16.05.2019 in all 13 Districts of the
state of A.P. In DEECET-2019 English medium seats are also available in certain
Govt DIETs and Private D.El.Ed. Colleges to an extent of 7000 approximately and
the number of seats may vary at the time of web options. For eligibility please
see the information bulletin.
2. Date and Time of
DEECET - 2019: DEECET will be conducted on 15.05.2019 and 16.05.2019 in all 13
Districts of the state of A.P. The test will be conducted through online in
spells.
3. Fee and submission
of Application Online : The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET - 2019
(including examination fee) is Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred Only). Candidates
can pay the fee through payment Gateway from 03.04-2019 to 28-04-2019 and
submit online application at the DEECET – 2019 website: https://cse.ap.gov.in
& https://apdeecet.apcfss.in from 04.04-2019 to 29-04-2019.
4. Procedure for
submission of application online: Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is
given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can download the “Information
Bulletin” free of cost from the DEECET – 2019 website: https://cse.ap.gov.in
& https://apdeecet.apcfss.in from 03-04-2019 onwards.
5. Examination centers
for DEECET - 2019: DEECET – 2019 shall be conducted in all the 13 Districts of
the A.P. State. Candidate can choose any District of his/her choice for online
examination center. If the slot for examination is exhausted (capacity) in the
opted district, nearby district centre will be allotted.
6. Eligibility criteria for admission:
A. Candidate should be
of Indian Nationality.
B. The candidates
should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the
A.P.Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order1974 as
subsequently amended.
C. Candidate should
have obtained a rank in DEECET-2019 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria
prescribed.
D. Age Limit: The candidates should have
completed 17 years as on 01-09-2019.There is no Upper age limit.
E. Educational
Qualifications:
- The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 during 2018-19 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
- The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination for appearing in the DEECET – 2019 for both A & B category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A & B category seats. Note:The candidates who passed Intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible
- Candidate belonging t o “O.C” and “B.C” communities shall secure minimum 50% marks in DEECET - 2019. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates the minimum qualifying mark for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 45%. That is to say candidates belonging to SC and ST communities should secure 50% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/NCC/CAP/Sports category.
7. The details
pertaining to the structure and content of the test, Syllabus, Pass
certificate, Rule of Reservation and allotment of seat are given in the
Information Bulletin.
8. Storage of
Examination material: The Examination related material will be preserved for six
months from the date of Examination and no application in this regard will be
entertained beyond this period.
9. Allotment of seats:
All the sanctioned intake of seats in Government DIETs shall be filled by the
Convener, DEECET-2019 on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET-2019 duly
following the rule of reservation vide rule 6 & 7 of G.O.Ms.No.30,
Dt.08.07.2015. The seats allotted to the Un-Aided institutions shall be
classified as (1) Category ‘A’ seats (2) Category ‘B’ seats. The Category ‘A’
seats shall be 80% of the sanctioned intake seats in the Un-Aided institutions
that do not opt for SW.2 shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in the
DEECET-2019. The un-aided institutions that opt for SW.2 shall maintain the
region wise reservation. The Category ‘B’ Seats shall be 20% of the total
intake seats in the Un-aided institutions. These 20% seats shall be opened for
the candidates who appeared In DEECET2019 and has been assigned rank in the
common merit list.
10. Method of
Admission: All the seats in the Government Institutions / DIETs and 80% of the
seats belongs to category ‘A’ shall be filled by the Convener DEECET-2019 and
the 20% of the seats which are belongs to Category ‘B’ shall be filled by the
respective institutions subject to scrutiny by the Convener, DEECET-2019.
11.Scheme of Entrance Test:
The Division of Marks and eligibility criteria The Question
Paper of DEECET-2019 consists of 100 marks with objective questions. Part- A
(60 Marks) Part- B ( 40Marks)
1.Maths: Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at
Intermediate level.
2.Physical Science: Those who studied Physics and Chemistry
as their Intermediate Subjects.
3.Biological Science: Those who studied Botany, Zoology as
their Intermediate Subjects.
4.Social Studies: Those who studied two subjects out of Five
Subjects viz., Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Commerce.

1. Mathematics
1st Year Mathematics - 20 Marks
2nd Year Mathematics - 20 Marks
TOTAL - 40 Marks
2. Physical Science
1st Year Physics & 2nd Year Physics - 20 Marks
1 st Year Chemistry & 2nd Year Chemistry - 20 Marks
TOTAL - 40 Marks
3. Biological Science
1st Year Botany & 2nd Year Botany - 20 Marks
1 st Year Zoology & 2nd Year Zoology - 20 Marks
TOTAL - 40 Marks
4. Social Studies
1st Year & 2nd Year History - 13 Marks
1 st Year & 2nd Year Economics - 13 Marks
1 st Year & 2nd Year Civics - 13 Marks
History / Economics / Civics - 1 mark
