Sub:- School Education Department - School Academic Calendar - 2019-20 — Extension of half-a-day schools from 17th to 22nd June, 2019 — Orders — Issued

HALF DAY SCHOOLS PROCEEDING

In continuation to the orders issued in the reference read 3rd above, all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that, it has been decided to extend half-a-day schools for further one more week ie., 17th June, 2019 to 22nd June, 2019 to the schools of all managements in the State due to prickly heat waves prevailed in the State. Therefore, they are requested to conduct half-a-half day schools for one more week i.e., 17th to 22nd June, 2019 from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to the schools of all managements in the State. Further, all schools should function as full day schools from 24th June, 2019 onwards in the State. These instructions should be followed scrupulously. This has the approval of the Commissioner of School Education, A.P., Amaravati.
