తల్లి సరోజ్ సూద్ పేరు మీద ఓ ప్రత్యేక స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ ప్రోగ్రాంను రూపొందించాడు.
కరోనా కష్ట కాలంలో సినీనటుడు
సోనూసూద్ చేసిన సాయం అంతాఇంతా కాదు. ఆయన సేవల్ని యావత్‌ ప్రపంచం కొనియాడింది.
ఎక్క‌డ ఆప‌ద ఉన్నా క్ష‌ణాల్లో సాయం చేసేందుకు ముందుకొస్తూ.. కష్టం అనే మాట
వినిపిస్తే చాలు వెంటనే స్పందిస్తున్నాడు. రీల్‌ విలన్‌ కాస్త రియల్‌ హీరోగా
కీర్తించబడుతున్నాడు. అయితే తాజాగా పేద విద్యార్ధుల కోసం తన దివంగత తల్లి సరోజ్
సూద్ పేరు మీద ఓ ప్రత్యేక స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ ప్రోగ్రాంను రూపొందించాడు.
ఉన్నత విద్యను అభ్యసిస్తున్న
అణగారిన వర్గాల చెందిన నిరుపేద విద్యార్ధులకు స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌లు ఇస్తామని
ప్రకటించాడు. వార్షికాదాయం రూ. 2 లక్షల లోపు ఉన్న కుటుంబాలకు చెంది
ఉండి, మెరుగైన ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించిన విద్యార్ధులు.. 10 రోజుల్లో తమ వివరాలను scholarships@sonusood.me మెయిల్‌కు పంపాలని సోనూసూద్ పేర్కొన్నాడు.
తల్లి ప్రేరణతోనే..!
ఈ అంశంపై ఆయన స్పందిస్తూ.. గడిచిన
కొద్దినెలల్లో నిరుపేద కుటుంబాలు తమ పిల్లల చదువు కోసం ఎలా కష్టపడుతున్నారో నేను
చూశాను. కొంతమందికి ఆన్‌లైన్ తరగతులకు హాజరు కావడానికి ఫోన్లు లేవు, మరికొందరికి
ఫీజు చెల్లించడానికి డబ్బు లేదు. కాబట్టి, నా తల్లి
ప్రొఫెసర్ సరోజ్ సూద్ పేరుతో స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌లను అందించడానికి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న
విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలతో ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకున్నాను. మోగా(పంజాబ్)లో ఆమె ఎంతోమంది
పిల్లలకు ఉచితంగా పాఠాలు బోధించేవారు. ఆ ప్రేరణతోనే.. ఆమె చేసిన మంచి పనిని
ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లడానికి ఇదే మంచి సమయం అని సోనూసూద్ తెలిపారు.
