Telugu is a South-central Dravidian
language native to India. The Telugu script is an abugida
consisting of 60 symbols – 16 vowels,
3 vowel modifiers, and 41 consonants.
Telugu has a complete set of letters that follow a system to express sounds.
The script is derived from the Brahmi script like those of many other Indian
languages. The Telugu script is written from left to right and consists of
sequences of simple and/or complex characters.
Workbooks are often used in schools for younger students, either in middle school or elementary school. They are favoured because students can work directly in their books, eliminating the need for loose-leaf and copying questions from a textbook. In industry, they may be customized interactive manuals which are used to help provide structure to an otherwise complex problem.
