Provision Of Access to BYJU’S Products for
Students in Classes 4 to 10 Who Are Studying in Government Schools

Sub: School Education – Provision of
access to BYJU’S Products for students in classes 4 to 10 who are studying in
government schools – Certain Instructions – Issued.

ORDER:
All the Regional Joint Directors of
School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are aware that
the Government of Andhra Pradesh has entered into an MoU with BYJU'S to provide
free access to BYJU’S Products for all students in classes 4 to 10 who are
studying in government schools.
To access the content, the
Parent/students need to have smartphone to access the content. For which, a
provision is enabled in the School Attendance App to capture the mobile numbers
along with the type of phone of students from classes 4th to 10th. The
following step to step process need to be followed:
a. An option has been enabled in the
Headmaster’s UDISE Code login-- àClick on Byjus
Project module --à Select the
class -à Select the Students -à Enter Yes/No
for availability of Smart Phone --à Edit the displayed
mobile number if any change OR Enter Mobile Numbers in case No number is
displayed (User Manual Enclosed)
b. The above process of updation of the
mobile numbers need to be updated/added as per schedule appended duly sending
an information slip to the parent in format enclosed.
c. Once the updation is done in the
mobile application, students shall be instructed to bring the smart phone to
the school after one week as per the schedule given in the annexure.
d. Head Masters concerned need to be
ready with internet connectivity on the scheduled dates to download the BJYU’s
app and activate the app.
4. All Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs)
will be trained to guide the school Head Masters and students in the process of
installation of the app. The said training will be given through WeBex at 4.00
PM on 11-10-2022 by using the User Manuals and short videos.
5. Therefore, all the Regional Joint
Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State
are requested to nominate one nodal contact person in the District Head
Quarters for disseminating the instructions above to all the headmasters for
accessing the BYJU’s content from class 4th to 10th.
6. This should be treated as the MOST
URGENT AND IMPORTANT deviation in the schedule will be viewed seriously.
