ఏపీ లో ఇంటర్నేషనల్ బాకలారియెట్(ఐబీ) సిలబస్ అమలు విధానాన్ని అధ్యయనం చేసేందుకు స్టీరింగ్ కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం సెప్టెంబరు 25న ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. స్టీరింగ్ కమిటీకి పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి ఛైర్మన్ గా ఉంటారు. సభ్యులుగా కమిషనర్, ఇంటర్ విద్యా మండలి కార్యదర్శి, పాఠశాల ఇన్ఫ్రా కమిషనర్, ఆర్థికశాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి, లా కార్యదర్శి తరపున ప్రతినిధులు, సమగ్ర శిక్షా ప్రాజెక్టు డైరెక్టర్, మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం పథకం డైరెక్టర్, ఏపీడబ్ల్యుఐడీసీ ఎండీ, పాఠ్యపుస్తకాలు, సార్వత్రిక విద్యా పీఠం, పరీక్షల విభాగం డైరెక్టర్లు ఉంటారు.
ఎస్సీఈఆర్టీ డైరెక్టర్ కన్వీనర్గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు. ఇందులో 1-10 తరగతుల వరకు ఐబీ సిలబస్ అమలుపై ఏర్పాటు చేసిన గ్రూపునకు
పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ కమిషనర్ ఛైర్మన్, ఇంటర్మీడియట్
జాయింట్ సర్టిఫికేషన్కు తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యలపై అధ్యయనం చేసే గ్రూపునకు ఇంటర్
విద్యా మండలి కార్యదర్శి ఛైర్మన్ గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు. ఇటీవల ప్రభుత్వం ఐబీతో
ప్రాథమిక ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఐబీ సిలబస్ నన్ను ఒకటో తరగతి
నుంచి ప్రారంభించి, ఏటా ఒక్కో తరగతికి
పెంచుకుంటూ వెళ్లనున్నారు.

School Education - Joint certification of the 10th and
12th AP Board with IB to the students studying in the AP Board schools--
Enabling the students in Govt. schools of Andhra Pradesh to achieve high-end
global jobs by transforming the 10th and 12th boards to make them equivalent to
IB board for certification Formation of Steering Committee for guidance and
report submission to Govt. on the areas of reform and transformation and
defining roadmap for the assessment and MOC (detailed agreement) - Entering
into MOC (detailed agreement) with the IB Orders Issued.
