The attention of all District
Educational Officers in the State are invited to the reference 5th read above
and they are informed that Government have accorded permission to renew the
services of the DSC 1998 and DSC 2008 contract teachers for a period of 11
months with effect from 01.06.2024 to 30.04.2025, with a break of one month, in
principal as ‘no work – no pay’, for the academic year 2024-2025, for smooth
running of academic class work and administrative works in the Government
schools.
Therefore, all District Educational Officers
in the State are hereby instructed to conduct counselling to the DSC 1998 &
2008 MTS contract teachers and allot them duly following the below guidelines
a. In the Foundational/Foundational
School Plus, where the teachers who were not relieved due to lack of
substitutes in the schools duly ensuring one regular teacher working in that
particular school and following the guidelines issued in rule 1(a) & (b) in
Annexure of G.O.Ms.No.117 & 128.
b. In the Pre-High Schools where the
enrollment is less than 98.
c. One MTS shall be deployed in the
Foundational/Foundational School Plus, where the enrollment is between 21-30.
d. To deploy MTS Contract Teachers in
the School based on the need.
e. Not more than one MTS shall be
allocated to any schools.
