The attention of all the District
Educational Officers (DEOs) in the state is drawn to the subject cited above.
The DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) is a flagship
initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at
providing high-quality e-content to enhance teaching and learning. Andhra
Pradesh has been a front runner in leveraging DIKSHA, in content creation and
effectively implementing QR-coded Energized Textbooks (ETBs).
It is reiterated that various digital
resources, including interactive e-content, audio stories, structured pedagogy
lesson plans, and online courses, have been developed and uploaded onto the
DIKSHA platform. Recently, several updates have been introduced on DIKSHA. The
DIKSHA platform now includes the following enhancements:
a. Reverse integration with Google
Classroom.
b. Learner Passbook for tracking
completed courses.
c. Improved video analytics.
d. Addition of new program categories
and course codes.
e. Integration of Katbook books using
iframes.
f. Bhashini integration for EPUB
reading.
g. Inclusion of CWSN (Children With
Special Needs) focus areas on the homepage.
Considering the increasing importance of
DIKSHA, the District Educational Officers (DEOs) are instructed to direct MEOs
and Headmasters to ensure active utilization of DIKSHA’s resources by the
students and Teachers in their daily teaching-learning activities using IFPs
and Smart TVs in classrooms.
It is further informed that Single
Sign-On (SSO) feature is now enabled, allowing teachers to log in using their
Teacher Information System (TIS) credentials at: https://cse.ap.gov.in/diksha or https://diksha.gov.in/ap/ The SSO feature
offers multiple benefits, including tracking course completions, monitoring
learning hours, and resolving forgotten password issues.
All the teachers and officials of DoSE
should be instructed to update their profiles immediately upon logging into
DIKSHA via SSO mode.
The users with multiple accounts should
merge them into a single official account as per the enclosed SOP (Annexure 1)
to consolidate their learning records. All teachers and officials must complete
their DIKSHA profile updates and delete duplicate accounts by 30-04-2025.
Further, screen recorded tutorial videos
links pertaining to SSO login process (https://youtu.be/YIulB7FzzoQ)
and account merging process (https://youtu.be/6UrYb6Do368)
are also be shared with all the stakeholder.
To strengthen DIKSHA activities at the
district level, three District DIKSHA Coordinators (one Academic Coordinator
and two Technical Coordinators) have been nominated for each district.
Therefore, all District Educational Officers (DEOs) are requested to nominate
new District DIKSHA Coordinators wherever vacancies exist or changes are
necessary.
The following guidelines should be
followed while nominating District DIKSHA Coordinators wherever vacancies exist
or changes are necessary.
The following guidelines should be
followed while nominating District DIKSHA Coordinators:
> Preference should be given to
National ICT Awardees, NRGs, SRGs, and DRGs who have actively contributed to
DIKSHA e-content creation and related activities in the state.
> Nominees must possess strong ICT
skills and demonstrate a commitment to DIKSHA initiatives.
> In districts where DIETs exist, at
least one DIKSHA Coordinator should be nominated from DIET.
> DEOs are requested to furnish the
details of the three nominated DIKSHA Coordinators via the following Google
Form (Link already shared with district AMOs).
Therefore, all DEOs are requested to
submit the details of the three nominated District DIKSHA Coordinators via the
Google Form (already shared with district AMOs). Additionally, each district
must create or update a District DIKSHA WhatsApp Group, with AMOs and DIKSHA
Coordinators as admins and Mandal DIKSHA Coordinators as members.
The DEOs are also requested to share the
contact details of the DIKSHA Coordinators with all MEOs, CRPs, School Heads,
and Teachers in their respective districts to ensure the effective
implementation of training programs, activities, and content hosted on the
DIKSHA platform. Furthermore, it is essential to review DIKSHA activities at
the district level on a monthly basis to monitor progress and address any
challenges.
The submission of the required details
must be completed by 25.04.2025, along with a copy of the DEO’s official order.
For any queries or support, please
contact Dr. T. Mahammad Ismail, State DIKSHA Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha,
Andhra Pradesh.
